EVENTS – 40 Royal Marine Commando

40 Royal Marine Commando (1942-46) Association will be holding their 27th and final Reunion at the end of March, with the Service of Remembrance in Shanklin Chine on Sunday 1st April at 11.0am. The Standard will be laid up in the Heritage Centre.
EVENTS – Offical opening of Historic Jubilee Exhibiton

Thursday, 19th April 2012 at Shanklin Chine (by invitation only)
This new exhibition features ‘Turner’s Isle of Wight Landscapes and the Discovery of Shanklin Chine, from his journey around the Island from his sketchbook of 1795. Other features include scenic works of Victorian artist, Lefevre James Cranstone and vignettes of Queen Victoria’ Golden and Diamond Jubilees.
EVENTS – Jubilee Tea Party
Sunday 3rd June, 2012 at Shanklin Chine
The Earl Mountbatten Hospice celebrates the Jubilee with a Tea Party in Shanklin Chine on Sunday, 3rd June, 2012, from 2.0 – 4.0pm.
Entry into the Chine will be free all day, with all donations going to the Hospice.
