The Children's Nature hide. Is an area for children to find out all about Shanklin Chine and its natural beauty. There are information posters and colourful photographic boards that will encourage children to find out more about this wonderful place. For the older children we have information about the History of the Chine including P.L.U.T.O PipeLine Under The Ocean.

Along with this we have a Live camera on our Red Squirrel feeder so you can watch one our shyest endangered animals coming for their daily supplies, as this is a live feed we cannot guarantee that they will visit while you watch. But we hope they do!

 

The Children's Nature Hide

We Have added two new wild bird feeders to the area around the Nature Hide to encourage the birds out for you to see, and our very friendly little Robin will even eat from your hand! All this will entice you and your family to find out all about us here in the Isle of Wight’s oldest Tourist attraction, which first opened in 1817.
